About Resin Dolls

- Resin is more rigid, heavy and delicate than vinyl dolls.

- Dark fabrics, denim, and some dyed materials may transfer color onto resin
- It is recommended use white lined garments, lightly colored garments, or stain prevention wear
- Resin can yellow over time
- Yellowing is accelerated by UV exposure, heat and other environmental conditions
- Store your doll in a cool and dry place
- Small marks on your doll are normal
Perfectly Imperfect
Resin dolls are hand-finished and may have minor seam lines, tiny surface marks, or natural variations. These do not affect the integrity of the doll and are considered normal for resin art dolls.
Darker Skin Tones and Visible Marks
Darker resin tones may show certain marks more easily, including dust, skin oils, light scuffs, or handling wear. This is normal and does not indicate a defect. We recommend washing hands before handling and using a soft cloth to gently wipe the surface when needed.
Fit Varies with Clothing
Dreamborne is designed around the 1:3rd scale fashion ecosystem, but fit can vary depending on the brand, pattern, fabric, and garment style
Extra Care with Hands and Fingers
Hands are one of the most delicate parts of any resin doll. Extra caution should be given when changing hands or posing them. Nails and fingers are more likely to crack or break if handled with force, twisted at an angle, or pulled too quickly. Always support the hand and wrist during swaps.
Magnets Require Care
Dreamborne uses magnetic parts for hands and feet. Keep small parts away from children and pets. Magnets can pinch if handled carelessly and should not be stored near sensitive electronics or medical devices. If magnetic parts are ingested seek emergency medical attention immediately.
Magnetic body parts are designed for easy dressing and handling. As with all magnetized parts, we recommend exercising a bit of extra care when traveling or carrying your doll to ensure pieces remain secure. Removing magnetic hands or feet during transport can help prevent accidental separation.
