How do preorders work, and what are the different tiers?
Our preorders are handled in limited batches to ensure maximum quality control. We offer three distinct tiers depending on how you’d like to receive your doll:
- Blank Set: The raw, casted resin parts are completely unpainted. Ideal for customizers.
- Partial Set: Includes the customized face-up and basic features.
- Full Set: The complete artistic vision—fully painted doll, premium outfit, wig, and thematic accessories.
What are my payment options, and do you offer layaway?
Yes! To make adopting a guardian more accessible, we offer flexible payment structures at checkout:
- Pay in Full: Process your entire order upfront.
- 3-Month Layaway: Split your payments evenly over 3 months.
- 6-Month Layaway: Split your payments evenly over 6 months.
What is your cancellation and refund policy on preorders?
Because each doll is custom-cast and handcrafted based on preorder numbers, orders cannot be fully refunded if cancelled after production begins. On layaway plans, the initial deposit or a specific percentage of payments made may be retained as a cancellation fee. Please double-check your order details carefully before completing the checkout.
What regions do you serve, and how much is shipping?
We proudly ship our guardians to doll collectors worldwide! Shipping rates are dynamically calculated at checkout based on your exact location, parcel weight, and preferred carrier. All packages are fully tracked and heavily padded to ensure your doll arrives safely.
What is the typical timeline from preorder to delivery?
Handcrafting high-quality polyurethane resin figures takes time. A standard preorder cycle takes roughly 4 to 6 months from the closing of the preorder window to the shipping phase. We send out regular email newsletters and update our production log to keep you informed every step of the way!
Will I have to pay import duties, custom fees, or taxes?
International orders may be subject to local import duties, customs fees, or value-added taxes (VAT) imposed by your destination country. These charges are determined entirely by your local government and are the sole responsibility of the buyer.

Yes, due to small parts, intricate components, and powerful magnets inside the head and joints, Dreamborne Dolls are strictly intended for collectors aged 15 and up. They are premium display art figures, not toys. Keep magnets away from pacemakers, electronic medical equipment, and young children or pets.
